Service industry has the potential to offer excellent career opportunities to those who are looking forward to grow and excel in the service sector. In order to get well placed in the service sector, the upcoming professionals are required to instill within them the relevant knowledge and learn wide variety of customer handling and interactive skills to match up to the industry norms. Grooming individuals appropriately with the right mix of knowledge, service attitude, better communication skills and enhanced confidence is the ultimate aim of this course.

Overview
This course consists of three streams, namely

1. PPHM–Professional Program in Hospitality Management (Industry Integrated)
2. B.S.C (Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Tourism)
3. Industry Specific Certificate Program.

This course combines a University teaching approach with a professional edge. The main aim is to train responsible and operational individuals in the field of Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Tourism.

Tourism and Hospitality is the fastest growing industry in the world creating 7.2 million new jobs every year. With the growth of e-commerce and globalization, a wide variety of career opportunities have emerged in the meeting and convention arrangements, event planning, travel, gaming, transportations, airline, recreation and food and beverage fields. Essential components to success in the industry are hands-on-learning and real-life experience; both are built into this Program.

• PPHM:Professional Program in Hospitality Management (Industry Integrated) has been designed to equip our students with the knowledge as well as experience according to the latest trends in industry/corporate world, to develop a competitive advantage.

• BSc.*:(Hotel Management, Catering Technology & Tourism) – The B.Sc. Program is graduate Degree from UCG recognized Universities*. It is a three years Program, which provides student with a on the job learning and real life exposure of Hotel industry.

• ISCP: Industry specific Certificate Program is meant to enhance the career placement of the students by providing them knowledge in a particular sector in consonance & according to their area of interest. This way we blend hobbies with career to make a successful professional. Students will be given exposure in any one of the areas; Heritage-tourism, Eco-tourism, Fun-tourism.

Special classes on personality development, soft skills and interactive English will be conducted for confidence enhancement, which eventually will become instrumental in fetching them with excellent job opportunities.
