Essential Entry Requirement

• For PG Courses: Graduate degree in any stream from universities/institutions recognized by UGC/AICTE/ AIU (Students appearing in their final year can also apply)
• Those students who could not appear in the above tests due to some valid reason, will have to appear in GIMT Aptitude Test (GAT)
• Valid scores in any of the management tests namely CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT


• For UG Courses: Selection will be on the basis of marks obtained in 10 + 2 and UGAT scores.
• Those students who could not appear in the UGAT test due to some valid reason, will have to appear in GIMT Aptitude Test (GAT)

Stage 1
Appearance in the latest management tests namely CAT/MAT/GMAT/XAT/GAT

Stage 2
Filling up of GIMT Application form separately

Stage 3
Appearance in Group Discussion and Personal Interview
The dates for the group discussion and interview would be communicated to short-listed candidates.

Stage 4
Deposition of the requisite fee and documents
The admissions would be final only after the payment of stated fee along with the security deposit (as mentioned in the admission offer letter). Fee once paid is not refundable.

At the time of admission, candidates are required to bring the following documents.

• High School Certificate in original and photostat copy
• Proof of passing the qualifying examination together with the marksheet in original and photostat copy.
• Character Certificate from the institution last attended in original
• Migration Certificate in original

Q 1:- What options are available for a Graduate at GIMT?

A: - At P.G. level the options available are:-

• PGPM +MBA*+ISDP(2 years)
• MBA*(Industry Integrated) + ISDP + PDP(2 years)
• PPM + BBA* +ISCP(3 years)
• BBA*(Industry Integrated) + ISCP + PDP(3 years)
• PGPCA + MCA* + ISDP(3 years)

Q2:-What do you mean by the term Industry Integrated?

A: - The term Industry Integrated means that the course content of the MBA have been designed in such a way that along with theoretical study, students get practical exposure by "Industrial training". Accordingly, the students in the first semester will have theory classes and afterwards they will be associated with the industry, where they will have to work for four/five days in a week and have to attend classes for two/three days in the campus.

Q3:- Whether the students will be given work experience certificate from the industry to which they are associated?

A:-Yes, they will be given work experience certificate for the duration they have worked in the industry.

Q4:- What about placement in GIMT?

A:-GIMT offers unrivaled training and placement to the students. GIMT's Training and Placement department identifies industry needs and demand from time to time and gears up the budding professionals to meet the challenges in the ever changing job scenario.

Q5:-Do students get any financial support from the industry?

A:- This depends upon the skills, knowledge and aptitude of the student getting training from the respective industry and the response by the industry.

A:- More than 2 lacs p.a. depending upon the ability of the student.

Q13:- Is the education loan available for the courses offered by your Institute?

A:- Yes, banks provide these loans on the basis of student's family background.

Q14:- Does GIMT have any scholarship scheme?

A:- Student with 75% and above aggregate marks in qualifying examination will be offered scholarship, on the basis of a written test.

A:- Though the fees is charged annually, however the installments is permissible in deserving cases.

A:- We have placement support with our university co-coordinating agencies. We have tie-up with many reputed companies.

Q17: - Do you have hostel?

A. Yes, separate hostel facilities are available for boys and girls

A;- GIMT provide furnished rooms and vegetarian meal. Other facilities include power backups, RO system, Hot water, cold water, TV with dish connection etc.

Q19:- Is it compulsory to avail hostel facility?

A. No, it depends upon student's choice.
